Who we are

Casa Colectiva is a UK-registered company running creative residencies in Morocco. When we say "we" or "us" in this policy, that's who we mean. Questions: connect@colectiva.casa.

What data we collect

  • Email address — when you subscribe or book.
  • Name and WhatsApp number — if you provide them for booking or enquiries.
  • Dietary, accessibility, and emergency contact details — only if you give them to us for a booking.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe and its connected payment methods (Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never see or store full card details.
  • Technical data — IP address, device type, pages viewed, collected via PostHog analytics.

Why we collect it

To take your booking, communicate with you before and during the residency, improve the site, and measure which marketing channels are working. We do not sell your data and only share it with the providers listed below.

How long we keep it

  • Booking records: 7 years (HMRC requirement).
  • Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: 90 days rolling in PostHog.
  • Ad attribution data: per provider's retention policy.

Third parties

We use these providers. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Stripe — payment processing, including Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Stripe and the connected providers are the data controllers for your payment data.
  • Resend — transactional and newsletter email delivery.
  • PostHog (EU host) — product analytics and session recording.
  • Meta Pixel — ad attribution for Instagram and Facebook campaigns.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email connect@colectiva.casa and we'll respond within 30 days.
