Booking Terms.
These terms apply to all bookings for Casa Colectiva residencies. Plain English, no surprises. By booking, you agree to what follows.
Booking & confirmation
A booking is confirmed when payment clears and you receive a confirmation email from us. Your payment receipt is your proof of purchase; our welcome email is your proof of place. If you don't receive both within 24 hours, email connect@colectiva.casa.
Payment
You can pay the full residency cost upfront, or a 40% deposit (£270 shared room / £340 private room) to hold your place. The balance is due no later than 10 days before arrival.
We accept card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Klarna or PayPal Pay-in-3 is available at checkout for eligible customers — three interest-free instalments managed by the provider directly. All prices are per person in GBP.
Cancellation & refunds
- More than 10 days before arrival: full refund, less a £20 admin fee and any payment processing fees.
- 10 days or fewer before arrival: deposit is non-refundable. If you have paid in full, the full payment is non-refundable.
We commit to the riad, artists, cooks, and transfers well in advance — that's why the 10-day window matters. We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellation, medical, and trip interruption.
What's included
5 days of programming · all breakfasts and dinners · craft workshops with local Moroccan artists · all rituals, activities, and materials · group airport transfers between Essaouira airport and the riad.
What's not included
Flights · lunches · travel insurance · visa fees if applicable · personal spending · additional nights before or after the residency.
Health, safety & liability
Participation is governed by our Participant Acknowledgment, which sets out your responsibilities for health, safety, and insurance, and the limits of our liability.
Changes to the programme
We reserve the right to substitute activities, workshops, or providers where weather, availability, or safety require it. The character, value, and scope of the residency will remain equivalent. We will notify you of material changes in advance where possible.
